To help out and assist Reception or in the Resource Centre.
* Assisting the member of staff who manages the Resource Centre.
* Meeting and greeting customers at the Resource Centre.
* Meeting and greeting visitors to the building and making them feel comfortable.
* Assisting with the demonstration of equipment.
* Occasionally helping at the various drop in centres held throughout the Highlands.
Location - either at Beechwood House or Kenneth Street.

Client group: sensory impairment,
An interest in people, skills in listening and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people are essential. The role also requires reliability, honesty, trustworthiness and a good sense of humour.
All volunteers are required to complete a PVG application form. All volunteers are required to provide the contact details of 2 referees who can be contacted to provide an account of character, skills and qualities.
Times required: Volunteers should be willing to volunteer between 2 and 6 hours a week.
Training: induction,support for volunteers,ongoing training.
