LOCAL CO-ORDINATOR - S.A.I.L.
(Inverness & Cromarty areas)

S.A.I.L. work with disadvantaged persons  - vulnerable adults, crewing sailing boats/yachts/ 

This is a voluntary position and reasonable expenses will be paid.  It is envisaged that the person will work initially for about 5-6 hours per week.  Comprehensive induction and training will be provided.

- To act as a local point of contact for the Group.
- To liaise with the volunteer manager (VM), local events co-ordinator and the Main Committee.
- To assist VM in the recruitment, placement, training and retention of a team of volunteers who    
   support the 
   members of the Organisation.
- To assist VM in ensuring work of the volunteers adheres to the guidelines set out in the 
   Organisation's 
  Volunteering Policy.
- To assist VM to collate and prepare all records pertaining to volunteers.
