Schools and Youth Volunteer - British Heart Foundation

Help raise the profile of the British Heart Foundation and awareness of heart disease within schools, colleges and/or nurseries by giving short presentations about the work of the charity and the importance of healthy lifestyles.

Duties include
- Give short presentations in schools, colleges and/or nurseries.
- Build up strong relationships with teachers and PE co-ordinators at schools within your agreed area through your contact with schools.
- Help encourage shools to participate in national fundraising events such as Jump Rope for Heart (skipping event) and Ultimate Dodgeball which raise vital funds whilst improving children's heart health.
- Attending cheque presentations and thank supporters for their help at schools who have supported the charity.
You will be working independently with support from your local Fundraising Volunteer Manager and from your regional office. You will also build up your own local contacts within the schools and colleges that you work with.
