To administrate and take part in Connecting Carers members only online book club discussion forum.
Connecting carers provide the Carers Centre Service for the Highlands. We provide information, support, training and advocacy for carers and young carers across Highland.
A carer is a person of any age who provided physical care or emotional support to another person due to fraility, physical or mental illness, addiction, disorder or disability and is not paid for that support.
•To read books, and discuss them online in members book club forum
•Providing online support and encouragement for book club discussion to members of the forum.
•Monitor activity and content from members.
•To encourage carers to engage with other carers / volunteers.
•Comply with the carers centre policies and procedures such as confidentiality policy, telephone and recording procedures etc
•Comply with and contribute to Connecting Carers work on continuous quality improvement
• To attend training, support and supervision as necessary and participate in staff meetings
•Comply with and contribute to Connecting Carers work on continuous quality improvement
•Participate in staff meetings
(Can work from home or in connecting carers office in Inverness)
