If this describes you, here's a chance to put your brilliant personal qualities into action.  Help blind and partially sighted participants get the best out of our member forum events by providing a friendly, welcoming and comfortable place to meet and share experiences.  Our lively team of event assistants has a space just for you!

Full Description:
Assisting blind and partially sighted participants into cars or taxis, or meeting attendees at the railway station or accompanying them there.
Registering attendees on arrival at events.
Guiding participants around the venue, helping them to find seating and providing directions to meeting rooms.
Giving guide dogs short walks while participants are in forum sessions.
Assisting with providing lunch and refreshments - tea-making skills are a definite bonus!
Possibly handling the roving microphone in some sessions; note-taking in others.
Anticipating and providing general assistance to participants, as needed.

(Member Forums are held in various locations around Scotland.  Willingness to travel is essential to this role)
