This is a great opportunity not only to help elderly people but to do something which you will really enjoy. In your own car we would likke you to pickup 1/2/3 elderly people who you will be given details of and take them:
1. One Sunday afternoon a month usually to a private house for a cup of tea and a chat. The visit will last no longer than 2 hours.
2. One weekday afternoon a fortnight or month and take them to a venue where they will reminisce, have a cup of tea and a chat and finish up with a good old fashioned sing song. This will not last longer than 2 hours.
The driver picks up the elderly people in his/her car and takes them to the venue and if they so wish they can stay with the elderly people and return for them in under 2 hours and take them home again. The driver is most welcome to stay and enjoy the hospitality and the companionship.
