Conservation Volunteer - Trees For Life

Ref 40 - 575

Trees for life are working to restore 600 square miles of Caledonian Forest in the Highlands west of Inverness. For a week we live as a community, working together in the forest and sharing domestic tasks, such as cooking the evening meal. Each Conservation Holiday work-week consists of 10 volunteers working at forest restoration i.e. collecting seeds and berries, planting trees, felling non-native trees, removing redundant fencing, wetland restoration, tree nursery work, survey and monitoring and stock fencing.

We work in Glen Affric, Dundreggan Pinewood, The Isle Of Skye, Glen Garry, West Affric, Achnashellach, RSPB Corrimony and Grudie Oakwood.
