Community networking volunteer - Oxfam

Oxfam Scotland's Campaigns Team works with a wide range for organisations and individuals to promote global justice. Volunteers play a key role in the team, helping deliver campaign activities on areas including economic justice and health and education. We are currently recruiting volunteers in key areas across Scotland to help ensure quality local networking and to increase the local presence of our campaigns.

Full Description:

. Working with others in their local community to lead Oxfam campaigning activities - this could include organising local events, letter writing to local MP/MSP, coordinating visits to local MP/MSP, increasing awareness of Oxfam campaigns in the local area (room for creativity in activities involved).
. Link with and support other Oxfam campaigns volunteers within local area to take campaigning actions.
. Networking with other organisations/volunteer groups that work in similar areas.
. Possibility to coordinate a local area Oxfam group.
