British Heart Foundation is looking for volunteers to join our shop teams. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation. As well as contributing to a worthwhile cause, volunteering is something practical you can do to help fight heart disease, Scotland's single biggest killer. You will make new friends, learn new skills and have opportunities to develop within the British Heart Foundation. You will be supported in your training by the shop manager and for your contribution you will also receive a 25% discount.
A key part of our shop operation is behind the scenes in the Warehouse. This is where we check the furniture and electrical items etc for quality before it goes on the shop floor. We assist the van crews to load and unload the goods we prepare, clean, ticket and price them. This is a very interesting and varied opportunity and you will enjoy working as part of the warehouse team.
