Visiting Service Co-ordinator - Visiting Service for the North of Scotland

Ref 40 - 1718

The Co-ordinator will receive referrals from various sources requesting a visitor to visit, usually an older person, on a regular basis. The Co-ordinator will visit the client, assess their abilities and interests and then endeavour to identify an 'appropriate' visitor for the client. Confidentiality and discretion are vital. The volunteer also needs to have good person to person skills, be a good communicator and able to assess a person's ability to be a suitable visitor.  This is a very interesting and rewarding post.

(Mainly in the Inverness area and Easter Ross)
