This is a great opportunity for dynamic and enthusiastic people ready to put their creative ideas into practice while developing different skills. Organising and staging events for Save the Children is a great way to use and develop different skills, meet new people and have fun whilst fundraising to improve the lives of children around the globe!
Local Groups are an effective way for volunteers to lend their support for our work. They provide continuity and stability to our volunteering network. Groups contribute to our work by raising vital funds and awareness.
Supporter groups are a key part of Save the Children, representing the charity in their commuities. As a supporter group member you can tailor your role to suit your interests and skills. Each group has several roles including a group co-ordinator, treasurer, press officer and more. It's really flexible; you only need to give a couple of hours a week. Meetings happen in the evening, so they won't clash with your job or daytime activities.
