Support Group Volunteer - Sight Action, Nairn

To provide support and assistance to blind or partially sighted adults at their regular meetings. These meetings are usually held once a month throughout the year.
Assist with organising visits, speakers etc in conjunction with the other volunteers.

Full Description:

• To be familiar with Sight Action’s policies and procedures
• To take part in regular support meetings, feeding back any issues or concerns that you may have, both with your volunteering or personally
• To be involved in evaluating the service
• To inform the Volunteer Coordinator/member of Sight Action staff if you are unable to assist in your designated task.
• To adhere to the Volunteer Code of Conduct.

(The driver and volunteers will be responsible for collecting the club members from their own homes and then taking them shopping/visiting various locations and/or to the venue in their local area.)
