Highlands & Islands Regional Scout Council is currently seeking a Secretary to the Regional Executive Committee. Working closely with the Regional Chair, the person will support the work of the Executive committee and liaise with six scouting districts across the Highlands and Islands.
Responsible for:
To assist the Regional Chairman in the effective operation of the region in accordance with Policy Organisation and Rules (POR) of the Scout Association.
Responsible to: Regional Chairman
Working Relationships: Members of the Regional Executive
Regional Treasurer
Regional Commissioner and his/her Regional Team
District Secretaries
SHO staff as appropriate
District Executive Committies
Appointment Requirements: Understand and accept The Scout Association's policies
Satisfactory CRB/Disclosure Scotland clearance
Appropriate training modules as detailed in Adult Training Scheme
Eligible for Charity Trustee Status
