Board Director - Birchwood Highland

Ref 40 - 1661

Board Directors will generally have experience gained in a business environment, the public sector, voluntary or charitable organisations or through previous voluntary or commitee work. Board meetings take place every two months and are currently held in the early evening. Occasionally you are maybe asked to participate in other ad hoc meetings or assist at fundraising events. There is also one scheduled Directors Away Day per year. To ensure our staff and service users get to know our directors, we ask that each Director undertakes to visit one of our five service areas on an annual basis. We ask that each Director serves on our board for three years.

Birchwood Highland is looking for individuals who believe in the ethos of the organisation. We are keen to invite applicants from different backgrounds who will bring a wide reaching range of experience with them. If you come with an open view, are able to make balanced and measured decisions based on information presented to you and have a passion that will ensure your commitment to Birchwood Highland then we would like to hear from you.

(Board meetings take place in our Head Office in Inverness)
