Rehoming Foster Carer - Pet Fostering Service Scotland

Cat and dog foster carers needed, dogs are cared for in volunteer’s home, cats in a spare room or in timber cat chalets in the garden (provided by Blue Cross)
Potential volunteers are asked to have experience of the species they wish to foster and not in full time employment. We do not recruit carers who have children under 5 years old to foster in the house but there is the possibility for them to foster using cat chalets.
We are looking for proactive individuals who are computer literate and have access to a digital camera. Pets are taken to the local vets, assessed by volunteer and advertised. Potential adopters visit the pet in the volunteers home. Foster carers should have access to a car to carry out home visits and take the pet to the vet. Full training, equipment and support given.
