Generalist Advice Worker - Nairn Citizens Advice Bureau

Ref 44 - 1609

Advice workers interview clients and allow the client to explain their problem and asking questions. We use our electronic information system to find the correct information and explain to the client what their choices are s/he can decide what to do. We give practical help, for example helping to fill forms and negotiating with third parties on the client's behalf. We then record all cases so that further help can be given if a client returns to the bureau. We also collect evidence to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.
